このコーヒーはikizere Womens Group という名でシングルマザーがコーヒー生産に参加しています。エクスポーターのマニュエルさんは昨年、社会的に孤立しやすい状況の女性が、経済的な自立と社会との繋がりを築くことの意義を自身のバックグラウンドを含めて熱く語ってくれました。参加している女性達で決めた「ikizere」という名前はルワンダ語で「希望」を意味しています。女性のエンパワーメントに繋がる取り組みを、コーヒーを通して皆さまにご紹介出来てとても嬉しく思います。
